Best books for relationships and love

This post is a part of my self-development library series that includes books for personal development from various categories. Make sure to check the entire library here: https://trytoblog.com/personal-development/best-personal-development-books-personal-growth/

Here, I present to you the best books from relationship/love category that I’ve read and have found them to be very beneficial! Personal relationships are an area of life, that we often forget to consciously work on – but I strongly advise you to do so, because there’s nothing better than putting in the work to improve your romantic relationship and then seeing the benefits – having a better and more loving relationship. So I advise you to take a look at the books below!:)

And keep in mind, that I will be continuously expanding this library, so you might want to sign-up for my newsletter below to get notified about new books that I add (and other cool stuff:)

Enjoy the read and I hope that you will find a book, that will change your life for the better!

Wired for Love: How Understanding Your Partner’s Brain and Attachment Style Can Help You Defuse Conflict and Build a Secure Relationship
by Stan Tatkin

This book is for developing yourself as a loving and understanding partner. It’s one of the areas that we put on “autopilot” far too often, even though we should develop ourselves in this aspect as well – after all, what is more, important to us than our partners and our relationships with them?

This one takes a look at love and romantic relationships from a different perspective. It talks about how our brains are wired differently and therefore we have different attachment styles – it talks about 3 different attachment styles and what’s typical for them, and you will undoubtedly be able to recognize yourself and/or your partner in those styles.

And just knowing and understanding, that we are simply wired differently, will make you accept the differences between you and your partner and therefore look at conflicts and disagreements from a different perspective.

Ultimately, you will be able to reduce the amount of conflict between you and your partner and look at your relationship from a different perspective – with even more love, trust, and acceptance. It’s really a fantastic and valuable book that I recommend you to read it if you want to improve your relationship and become a better partner.
